Ronnie Scott - Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Scott has over thirty years of oil and gas industry experience and is Chief Executive Officer of Development Capital Resources. Previously, Mr. Scott served as CEO and President of True Oil Company, a private equity backed oil and gas firm. He was also President and COO of Henry Petroleum and its successor companies, Henry Resources and HPC Energy, all privately-held energy firms based in Midland, Texas. Mr. Scott began his career with Exxon Corporation holding various supervisory and managerial assignments in Engineering, Operations, Planning, and Financial Accounting and Reporting. In addition to the Permian Basin, he has had assignments covering operational areas in the Gulf Coast / GOM region, California, and the Rocky Mountains and was the Technical Manager for Exxon’s multi-billion dollar onshore operations in the Western United States prior to moving to privately held energy firms. Mr. Scott is currently serving or has served on the board of directors on multiple publicly-traded and privately-held energy companies including DCR Corporate Holdings, ECR Corporate Holdings, Elk Hills Power, Blackbrush Oil and Gas, Verdad Resources, Clayton Williams Energy Corporation, Halcon Resources, Gastar Exploration, and Pardus Oil and Gas. Mr. Scott also serves as Vice President of the board of the Henry Foundation and as a founding board member of Educate Midland, a non-profit focused on public education in West Texas. Mr. Scott holds Master and Bachelor of Science degrees in Engineering and is a Registered Petroleum Engineer.
